News Team Henselite Jo Edwards is the Greatest
December 17, 2018

Tean Henselite's Jo Edwards became the most-successful competitor in bowls history when she claimed the women’s World Champion of Champions title at St John's Park Bowls Club, NSW.

The reigning Commonwealth Games singles gold medalist became the first dual winner of the event, claiming her first title in 2011 in Hong Kong.

This was Edward's twelfth ‘major’ title which saw her surpass Northern Ireland’s legendary Margaret Johnston’s eleven to become the most successful of all time.

Edwards defeated Malaysia's Alyani Jamil 10-7 10-3 in the final. Jamil raced out of the blocks to lead Edwards 6-2 after five ends of the first set. However, a timely four on the next saw Edwards change gear and forge on to take the crown.

Jo Edwards uses Henselite Dreamline XGs.
